Meet Jennifer Goode, MA, ALC

Jennifer Goode, MA, ALC, believes that the client is the expert on their life and uses a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to counseling. She is passionate about walking alongside her clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and wellness. With a B.S. in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she is committed to providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their struggles and work toward a more fulfilling life.
 

She enjoys working with a diverse range of clients, from young adults to seniors, including those over 65. She is especially dedicated to supporting the geriatric population and their caregivers, aiming to ease the unique challenges that come with aging and help manage related emotional and mental health concerns.
 

She has experience working with suicide ideation, high functioning autism, ADHD, anxiety and depression. She takes a holistic approach, considering the whole person and integrating psycho-education on health and wellness to empower clients to advocate for themselves and collaborate effectively with their healthcare providers. Additionally, she has specialized training connecting childhood trauma to adult issues, helping clients understand and heal from past experiences. Through compassion and empathy, her goal is to partner with each client on their path toward healing, resilience, and emotional freedom, guiding them toward a healthier, more balanced life.
