Destiny Parker is the friendly face (and voice!) when you call or walk into Alabama Counseling & Wellness. I joined this amazing team because I’ve personally experienced the power of therapy and know just how life-changing it can be. My own journey with counseling helped me grow emotionally and mentally, and now I get to support a team that makes that kind of growth possible for others!

My goal is to make sure you feel seen, welcomed, and cared for from the moment you reach out. I may not be a therapist, but I care deeply about your experience here and will always do my best to help you feel comfortable and confident taking that next step. 

Outside of work, you can usually find me chasing around my sweet (and fast!) almost two-year-old son, sewing something cute to wear, or flipping through a good book. I also love starting the day with a coffee —my current obsession is a 7 Brew mix of the Sweet & Salty and Honeybun with caramel drizzle!
